In partnership with both The Architectural Review and The Architects’ Journal, the W Programme promotes equality and diversity in architectural practice through a series of networking and social events, mentoring sessions, survey workshops, inspiring lectures and thought-provoking panel discussions to encourage best practice and inspire change as a united voice. The aim of the programme is to create better and healthier working environments for everyone in architecture, fostering a culture of respect and equal opportunities.
The W Programme community is comprised of two key groups:
- W Partners are architecture practices that want access to a community of peers that are focused on driving equality and elevating lesser-heard voices in the sector
- W Sponsors are commercial vendors and service providers that want to support the sector in this journey through thought leadership and technology solutions
- The W Awards sit at the centre of the W Programme, designed to recognise and reward both established and emerging excellence in architecture practice.
Our schedule of fringe activities for partners and sponsors offer a variety of networking and learning opportunities.

I was extremely happy to see the change in the name from Women in Architecture to W. We have to think in non-binary terms in our times.
