Why partner with the W Awards

Make a public commitment to equality and join us in building a sustainable future for the profession

The W Awards celebrate exemplary work by women and non-binary people, and work in the fields of gender and architecture. Sponsors are visible partners in that conversation, not logos on a banner.

A seat among architects

The prize-giving and winners’ dinner place partners alongside prize winners, shortlisted architects and influential figures who are paving the way for a more inclusive future.

Editorial company

Winners and shortlists are published each March in The Architectural Review, with the Architects’ Journal covering the work of UK practices. Partners are named in the newsletters and articles that announce the winners.

Association with a prize

Category sponsorship ties your name to the Jane Drew, Moira Gemmill or MJ Long Prize, and headline sponsors co-present the awards on stage with the AR and AJ editors.

Content you can use

Partners can use the W Awards logo, event photography and social media material on their own website and channels, so the commitment is visible well beyond the evening itself.

‘These awards are very important; I was extremely happy to see the change in the name from Women in Architecture to W Awards. We have to think in non-binary terms in our times.’

Beatriz Colomina, winner of the 2020 Ada Louise Huxtable Prize
