W Awards prize-giving ceremony at the Architectural Association, London

On Thursday 21 May, the Architects’ Journal  and The Architectural Review will celebrate the winners of the W Awards 2026, at the Architectural Association in London. 

This public event is free to attend and will include presentations by:

- architect and pioneer of reuse Barbara Buser, winner of the Jane Drew Prize for Architecture 2026

- painter and cultural activist Lubaina Himid, winner of the Ada Louise Huxtable Prize for Contribution to Architecture 2026

- architect Joel Sanders, member of … Stalled!, which was awarded the Prize for Research in Gender and Architecture 2026

This event will be followed by a private dinner for all winners and finalists, hosted by John Jennifer Marx alongside the AR and AJ.
